Mark Rawson, MD
Founder and Medical Director
Dr. Mark Rawson founded Lifespan Health in 2016 with a singular mission: to help patients achieve and maintain optimal health through a comprehensive, holistic approach. After completing his medical residency in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Rawson gained broad clinical experience in diverse settings—ranging from inner-city community clinics and metro-area emergency departments to hospitals in developing countries and even serving as shipboard physician for Semester at Sea. In addition to his work at Lifespan Health, he continues to care for patients at Sanford Health Hospitals and Emergency Departments. Blending conventional training with advanced functional and integrative medicine, Dr. Rawson is dedicated to uncovering the root causes of chronic illness. He believes in a collaborative, patient-centered partnership, using science-based, non-toxic interventions—often beyond the boundaries of traditional standard-of-care medicine—to help patients restore health and vitality. His passion extends to helping individuals optimize both physical and cognitive performance, enabling them to live—and function—at their highest potential for life. Laura Rawson, L.Ac., DACM
Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine
Dr. Laura Rawson has been dedicated to the art and science of Chinese Medicine for more than 25 years. Nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology (NCCAOM) and board-certified by the California Acupuncture Board, she brings extensive clinical experience and a deeply integrative approach to patient care. She earned her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco in 1996, later completing her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. Dr. Rawson also holds advanced training as a Breema practitioner and instructor, is certified in Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), and is a graduate of the Kresser Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine. With this diverse training, Dr. Rawson designs highly individualized treatment plans to address each patient’s unique needs—supporting physical healing, emotional balance, and overall well-being. She frequently helps patients with digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and both chronic and acute pain. Her work blends traditional wisdom with modern functional medicine, guiding patients through life’s physical, emotional, and spiritual transitions with efficiency, compassion, and lasting results. For the past five years, Katrina Paul has been the heart of Lifespan Health, ensuring that every aspect of the clinic runs smoothly. As Clinic Manager, she is the organizational force and steady presence that keep both our team and our patients supported every day. From coordinating schedules to managing operations, Katrina’s attention to detail and genuine care make her an indispensable part of our practice. Outside of work, Katrina is a devoted mother to four children and a highly skilled furniture restoration enthusiast with a keen eye for design. Her tireless work ethic, versatility, and unwavering commitment shine through in everything she does—whether she’s managing the fast-paced demands of the clinic or caring for her family

Christin Peterson, RN

Christin has been part of the Lifespan Health team since October 2023, providing nursing expertise and clinical support across the practice. She is recognized for her strong clinical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and consistent advocacy on behalf of patients, ensuring that care is thorough and well-coordinated. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, with a minor in Child Psychology emphasizing Family Social Science. She went on to complete her Master of Arts in Nursing at the University of Minnesota’s School of Nursing. Her academic and professional achievements include: CLARION Interprofessional Case Competition – Regional Champion and National Participant (2014) Academic All-Big Ten – Four-time honoree (2006–2009) for academic excellence as a student-athlete Christin’s combined background in psychology and nursing brings a broad and well-rounded perspective to her work at Lifespan Health.

Olivia Hedeen
Hyperbaric Technician
Olivia joined the Lifespan team in February, 2024. She is passionate about health and science and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Biology in 2022 from PLNU in San Diego, CA. She has a background in clinical research and has two publications in the American Association for Cancer Research. Olivia has long been passionate about integrative medicine. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the patients and seeing their health and lives improve firsthand. In addition to her administrative role, Oliva has taken the lead in developing and running Lifespan Health's hyperbaric oxygen program. Outside of work, Olivia loves to stay active, going on regular runs and hikes. She plans to further her education and one day become an integrative medicine provider or nurse.


Samantha Skwarek
Administrative Specialist
Samantha joined Lifespan Health in November 2024, bringing a friendly and approachable presence to the front desk. She helps manage scheduling, patient check-in, and daily administrative tasks, contributing to a smooth experience for both patients and staff. A former collegiate athlete, Samantha played both softball and basketball at St. Catherine University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science. She was honored with the Fleur-de-lis Award, recognizing a student-athlete who excelled in athletics, academics, and community service. Outside of work, Samantha is the Head Coach for the Stillwater Girls Basketball Junior Varsity team, where she enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for the sport.
